Cheerleading Head Coaches
CHEERLEADING HEAD COACHES
Our athletes are instructed by volunteer, youth-oriented coaches. All coaches need to pass a background check and child safety course (8 hours of training) through TrustedCoaches.
Training courses are available to our Cheer Coaches through our partnership with Greenfield High School. We partner with the Varsity Cheer Program and High School Cheer athletes volunteer to student-coach our Cheer teams.
Individuals interested in coaching must be willing to commit to the necessary time to their team and athletes. Our Program President will interview all potential coaches. Then, the Board will interview the candidate and make the final decision to hire. Any interested candidates should email Program President, Leah Macans at president@greenfieldyouthfootball.org.
QUESTIONS / CONCERNS
It is VERY important to have an open line of communication between athletes, families, coaches and the board.
All questions regarding athlete participation should be directed to your team’s Head Coach. If the concern occurred during a game, please refrain from contacting coaches for 24 hours. If you are not satisfied with the response to your inquiry, GYFCP recommends that you contact the GYFCP Program President, Leah Macans.
Additionally, GYFCP will not address any third party or anonymous phone calls or emails. It is imperative that any issues are clearly shared to all involved, so we can have a successful resolution.

3RD AND 4TH GRADE HEAD COACH (2026)
Olivia Crabtree
Coach Olivia's Bio
I started cheering at the age of 5 with my local park district sideline cheer team. My mom was my first cheer coach, and she was the best first coach I could have asked for! My brother was on the park district football team, and I loved being able to cheer him on. When I was 11 I joined the middle school cheer team for my school and began cheering for basketball games as well as football games. I was in seventh grade when I competed in my first cheer competition, and my love for the sport grew even more! I continued my cheer career in high school, with my team placing fifth place at the ICCA State Championship my sophomore year. During my high school cheer experience, I attended several skills camps at Carthage College, helped organize and coach youth cheer clinics, and improve my tumbling skills at ICE All Star Cheer. I did not continue my cheerleading career into college, but my passion for the sport has never gone away!

I have 20+ years of cheer experience as a former cheerleader myself as well as being an active part of my own daughters cheer career with 10 years of All Star Elite at Altius Cheer Elite and Rockstar Athletics, as well as her being a Hawks Cheerleader for the middle school and a current Hawks Varsity Cheerleader.
My sons have been in the Greenfield Youth Football program both starting at the fifth grade level with the youngest now going into High School. My oldest just graduated, but was on the Varsity football team as quarterback. I am very familiar with the program and how things work as well as being knowledgeable in both cheer and football!
